let make a car specific thread(dsmers)
Haha Andrew is right, because I have no idea how to install this stuff, but thats what Brian is good at so I guess I got lucky on that end. But how much do you want for your GSX wheels? ...But then again I'm not sure if I want black wheels or gun metal, etc.....Too many decisions!! But I will prob. def. get wheels and tires before I upgrade my turbo because my tires are getting bald!! Andrew....how is your car coming?

It's not, I'm at school and can't work on it right now, but hopefully I can finish it this weekend if my timing parts come in.
Heard you were having troubles, I offered my help to you through brian. If you would like it get at me through him or here. If you don't, call me anyway I'd like to hang out and watch
I'd love to get a second opinion on it though, no matter what we do we cannot get the timing set correctly. Now I've set the timing on this car 3-4 times and I've never noticed this problem before. The cams can be set perfect, both oil pump sprocket and crank are aligned perfect, and then when the tensioner pulley is torqued it only moves the crank alignment, about a 1/4" clockwise. All new oem timing parts should be there tomorrow, so I'm planning on coming in this weekend and finishing it.
I may be wrong but isn't there a hole in the back of the block used to check balance shafts. When everything is aligned correctly that you can stick a screw driver in the hole and it will keep everything aligned, then when you put the tensioner on everything will stay put, thats when you remove the screw driver and nothing should have moved. Now I know thats how we did it on a 1g with balance shafts in. Not sure if it the same without balance shafts.
