Default Running Open Header

Besides being loud is there anyway that it will harm the exhaust valves since there will be lack of back pressure? I do have a down pipe that extends past where the stock cat use to be....Will be running this setup for 1 week

why not just gut your cat and hang a 2 foot long 3" diameter pipe with a turned down end off of it? that will keep exhaust velocity high enough to prevent you from harming your motor but still give you plenty of kick if youve got a FI car.

Well, we talked and I said how you ran for a while the same way, but it was not daily driven.

I also misread his post and told him that in PM, I thought he was running just an header and nothing else.
