See sig. I have untouched stock heads and the shortblock is still as-is from the factory with over 180k miles on it. I think 260 - 270 is doable with the right supporting pieces

You're right. The intakes are what makes the difference. The intake selection for carbed motors is worlds better than the choices of efi manifolds.

GT40P Heads, GT40P Headers, Stock h-pipe, no cats, no mufflers, E-cam, STOCK GT40 intake, Electric Fan, Electric waterpump, Aluminum DS, MAC Cold Air, 65MM Throttlebody (which I forgot to add the first time around), No Powersteering, No AC..
