It's a little too soon for you to take something like that on for any serious amount of money. How could you possibly be comfortable enough with your setup? Althought 650whp is just a number, I'd be willing to bet it traps around 135-140mph. The track officials will have there way with ya.
In the meantime, slicks are almost a necessity now. Buy some 15" wheels and slap on some mickey thompsons and lets break more shit! lol.

650whp AWD is gonna be extremely difficult to beat on the street, I'm going to have to side with Brian on this one.. The only trick now is gonna be making it hook and learning to shift quick as the gears go by extremely fast at that power level. Even with suspension and tire I spin 2nd gear from a roll, on radials all it does is hit the rev limiter. Traction will be fixed soon though

As far as the race, why bother? I didn't build my car to be the fastest, if I had it would be a 2.1, not a 2.3. I built it to have fun and play around, and I'm loving it
Anyway, I'm in the process of searching out a different camset, as the ones in my car did not perform properly and the VE falls dramatically at big boost in top end.
The liter bikes would be fun to run just to see, but don't plan on beating any of them. You'll be too busy shifting. Should have stayed with the 2.0 if thats what you wanted.

There's a few turbo + nitrous Busa's around here... Maybe I'm biased, but I think you guys are underestimating them. I know the Eclipse is going to be fast as shit, but a 250-350hp motorcycle isn't something to take lightly.




brian is no where near comfortable with that hp he needs to learn that car all over
