Now the key part of that sentence was LOCAL. Everyone knows roanoke hasn't caught up to the big time areas of racing, were breaking 140mph traps is just meeting the average.

Maybe we underestimate the liter bikes because we are really unsure of their trap speeds. What does a 1000cc gsx-r trap stock? R1, busa, etc...? What is the likely hood of racing a really good rider that can get excellent times out of it? A scheduled race might be different, but your average joe rolling around isn't probably a magician on a bike, but I'm making assumptions .

Everyone knows someone faster. I doubt Brian really gives two shits about making a point to anyone right now, he's just stoked to get his car back and running. Let alone back up and running and making 650 fucking whp, god I bet it's insane.

 

The only reason I said anything about any of that is because he said he was wanting to race some big bikes for money.. already. I don't know if he was kidding, or if he was serious. I'm not taking any credit away from him because that thing is going to be pretty ungodly for a street driven 4cylinder, especially for Roanoke.

I'm not trying to keep low from anyone, I like my life being personal, not flapped all over the internet. I'd rather just enjoy it and go on without worry of other people.

Anyway, its cool. This car will never be a auto-x car, though I did see a guy autox'ing a t67/2.0, so I guess its possible. I'm working on another project for the road race car, so I'd say this car will be merely for me to enjoy and learn, and then sell and move on.
