IM SCREWED
105/55?? thats impressive. next time, RADAR DETECTOR... or just dont speed... LEOs in this area from what ive experienced have been ALOT more lenient since the new fines came into play..
ur lucky u did not get caught in Chesapeake they have nothing better to do..... i grew up in great bridge and all i know is just be very thankful it was not there.
Also man What was so important that you had to go over 100? and as per previous arguments i have never broken 100 on a public road and hell never gone more then 80 in Virginia.
Be smart about it get a lawyer like everyone is saying.... sell the car and take the drivers course before you go to court. dress nice suit and tie(appearance makes a difference) and if the judge throws the book at you have your lawyer appeal the case and see if he can work a deal b4 the next court date. you don't name drop but let your lawyer know and see if he can use it in some way to talk to the officer and da.

Some idiot I know got 103/55 this summer, pulled by a VA state trooper. He had a lawyer and got 90 days jail (80 suspended, 10 to be served on weekends), 6 months restricted license, and fines.
supposibly theres a law stating that if you a exceeding 100 miles n hour and the cops chase you. you should be able to get out of it because in the state of va there are not allowed to go into high persuit or some shit like that. So what I would do would be to talk to your uncle see if he could do anything for you and then also get a lawyer and see if they can use that law to fight your case
