i have a JDM GSR i wanna build n boost
JE Pistons for Acura B18C1 8.9:1 on a drag 3 turob kit?
any suggestions or commments would b appreciated

Stock block will hold up fine. Unless you want 400+ (i know stock blocks have held more and blown on less, its a generalization)

Get a good tune and fuel management.

get a thicker head gasket and dont rip on it u should be fine on low boost

-thicker head gasket
-ARP head studs/rod bolts
-big injectors then - Get it tuned..
-Get a better kit/piece a better one together

Why would you run a thicker headgasket?
That does a couple of things
- 1) It reduces the quench of the motor, causing a less complete combustion cycle.
- 2) It increases the likelihood the motor will see damaging or fatal detonation.

So, why would you do that? If I may ask?

Probably said it to lower compression.
depending on the amount of boost you want to run just get an oem head gasket and aebs head studs
