Hmmm,
Like its been stated many times before, for those who have issues I dont think you're getting anywhere.
To the honda guys who took offense, dont. I was aiming the comment at the one guy for down talking casey's SRT4. The SRT4 would really put a shame on the honda, so if you'd like, yes a neon would really hurt your feelings. Get over it?
I wasn't slamming hondas as a whole - just getting at that one guy - which wasn't hard, so for the rest, cool down.
As for the others, who still can't seem to get their shit straight, just give up. I by no means think im better than guys who dont have sweet cars, damnit, give it a rest. No one really cares what the hell you guys have to say, if taking a shot at me online makes you feel good then great. In addition, no one really gives two shits how hard you had to work for the car you have, the whole VaDriven point system was abolished years ago when many folks soared into the negatives.
As for the guys here in roanoke, I have an appreciation for this area and for those around here (with the exception of a few). I'm friends with whoever wants to be cool, and not let cars or bullshit stuff get between the friendship - isnt that the stuff you leave behind in highschool? You can still make jokes, but thats as far as it goes, people just latch onto this shit and run with it for miles in unknowing directions
It really comes down to appreciation. If you appreciate a $1k car as much as a really expensive car, then you're just as good as anyone. No worse, no better. NO sir!

I totally hear you on that. In fact this year i've really wanted to buy an older hatch, gut the shit out of it, build the motor and turbo it. I dont have the time nor money to do that, so its only been a thought, and a wish, nothing more.
But that'd be totally fun, wouldnt be that expensive, handle amazing, and really scare a lot of people.
Take Ben's K20 swapped hatch, by the looks of it (with the exception of the huge meats up front) you wouldnt know much about it, and assume its a normal hatch. But damn, for what hes done to it, he's surprised plenty of people im sure.
So really do what you want with whatever you have. It just pisses me off went some of the guys on here take total offense when someone jokes about their cars and has a nice car, therefore they must be a stuck up bitch...its really not the case, so ease up. Yet the apparent underdogs can joke about shitty or nice cars all they want, but never get shit for it? Its just inconsistent - put aside what the person drives - focus on their posts not their garage and things would be so much better here...

Thats cool you guys grew up and everything, but i wasnt trying to butt in the middle of it, this is the internet - so what people say is public - no body knows the relations between you guys, i was just stating a fact. The other guy just needs to settle down and not assume I was taking a cheap shot at him, thats all.
