where is a casual catholic church in virginia beach?
Wave Church ask for money just like every other church, but we put the money back into the community. Just about every month we go out to a location to either fix up a place or feed families. We go to Huntersville Ghetto in Norfolk a lot to clean their neighborhood, and to feed the families. We have also fixed up one of the elementary schools in Norfolk by cleaning the floors, walls, painting, etc. We also take our buses to pick up the families for Thanksgiving / Christmas, and bring them back to our church for a home cook meal. During Christmas we give each of the kids present that we have been donated by members of the church. Wave Church believes in helping others, and that is why I love going there.
Everytime I went to the wave, I couldn't stop but admire the amount of money spent on the sound system, TV's and the pastor's salary. They ask for money at least two times per service and always cherry pick a reading that states as soon as you give money to God, errr I mean the wave church, then your life will get better.
They sing more than they teach, and is built around sucking you in for money money money. They amount they give out is entirely volunteer labor, while everything they take in pays for what? The volunteer labor?
