Im about to build a new motor for my 95 civic coupe, and im kinda torn on what engine i should build!! Money isnt really the issue to a certian point!! Im debating on whether i should go H22 or B18, or maybe even B16 but i dont think i want a 16!! Im gonna be building it from the ground up trying to get all the power i can out of it!! i would like to hit the 3 to 400 hp range!! What do you guys honestly think would be the best fit!! I know theres some really experienced builders and racers on this forum and i would love to here what they hae to say!! Please back up your opinions with facts, i want this to be a serious build, so let me know what yous think!!

Fuck put in a K20A2 close to 300 to the ground with bacis bolt ons and running 12s all day

 

More like 220-230 with bolt ons.

Yeah i really dont want to do a k series. I want to keep it to a B or H series swap. Im just not a big fan of the Ks yet.

doing a full build to hit 300-400? thats real fucking weak.

 

Ya i was going to say,thats something a sohc can do with just rods and pistons.

 

Do something unique... like a B16 or something.
