yep, used to be, lol.

the only thing left of the yami is a few feet of frame tube and the motor, lol.

i ground all the yamaha castings off the motor, now everyone asks me if it's an old triumph. all the hardcore harley guys (even some of my customers) think it's cool till they find out it's a jap bike, then they just kinda shake thier heads and walk away, hahahaha. they feel REAL dumb when i tell 'em i have less than 2 g's in the whole bike, from start to finish.

chicks seem to dig it though, probably b/c it's so low to the ground. i'm still trying to get ahold of copies of the pics from the "girls of boneshakers" photoshoot they used the bike in. half naked hotties draped all over my bike...t'was a good day, lol.

 

Skrooze what's going on dude. The bike is looking killer man. I just picked myself up a 01 1200 sportster (yeah they are ugly ass bikes but just wait). I just couldn't go without a Harley man (not to mention I picked it up with 3k miles for only $3k). I'll have this bike done by early May. I'll start a thread later tonight with some pics of when I picked her up and how she looks now in @ 250 pieces. Can't wait to see your bike finished.

 

awesome man! you can do ALOT with a sporty. hell, if i was ever gonna own a hardley, it'd probably be a 1200 sporty, well, the motor is probably all i'd keep, but you knopw what i mean.
