Default differential or clutch??!!

car recently began to shudder whenever the gas is pressed. about two days ago, I was stuck in traffic, after getting off the ramp I smelt my clutch for a good 5 minutes but car still ran normal afterwards. A few days later after a car wash, I drive away and the car will shudder under acceleration.....the same feeling you get when you have warped rotors and trying to stop, that kind of shudder. on the highway it would be more noticeable. I put the car in neutral and revved the motor but it revs freely and no shuddering while in neutral and coasting. Not sure what it is, looked under the car and suspension seems fine, brakes all working properly and axles look good. I'm hoping its not the differential but.....could it be the clutch? was done 3 years ago...its an ACT hdss and prolite flywheel. any ideas? Input would greatly be appreciated.

clutch. in my opinion. if you're curious, you can pull the pass axle out and put your finger in the diff. try to move the metal around, if you can move it a lot, its probably broke.
