dmv and state inspectors are two very different things.

and no, unless you're gonna carry it to me in a truck. either way is fine by me.

The stock ones are about 11" at the top, then the two lines running to the calipers are around 15". The bottoms should be fine because they won't move, if the top is around 15" as well, it should give me plenty of play. I am going to ask around, I think cammy is also running db bars on his 9 and see what he's doing. I might also take them off and see if I can find a place that does hydraulic lines that can make me some longer ones. I really don't want to skimp with my safety!!

But definatly let me know if you find something!! That would be awesome.

Way different. The DMV inspector says I can ride mine on the street, so I guess that little sticker from the State inspector is just a formality....right??!!

This is just cuz I like this smily!! LOL

Steve, text me in the morning if you're going to be at your shop. I'd like you to take my bike around the block to feel this skipping I have going on. I hit it hard as shit in first today and it skipped hard as a bitch twice then did a baby wheelie then took off. I don't like.

I use B&B hose and rubber. They are on Bainbridge I believe. Right where Great Bridge Blvd ends. Ive used them for everything from SC oil lines, nitrous lines, forklift hydrolics and Gas lines, etc. Take your lines up there and they can match the ends.

lol.

hey Skiv, norfolk rubber can make you lines too, and they're probably closer to you.

as far as being on topic.... since when does that ever happen around here?

still trying to find a piece of thick leather to cover my seat pan, and i may be swapping the bars out with 14" apes. i yanked the bars off my chopper bicycle just to see what they looked/felt like, and i kinda like em. the bicycle bars aren't thick enough metal to really run on that bike without breaking, so i'm in the market for a set of 7/8" diameter, 14" high apes. i have an extra set of cables already that will work perfect for the new bars. i can always go back to my current setup if i decide i don't like them after all. i'm more concerned with having to ride the damn thing to myrtle beach in a lil while, and the apes are ALOT more comfortable. the seat still sucks ass for any kind of distance though, lol.

well, if brickhouse/7 cities hadn't gone under, coulda gotten a set there for next to nothing.

check e-bay, stock risers from just about any jap cruiser will work, and you can pick them up there for under $20 all day.
