haha. UPDATE: As of 2.18.08 he texted me out of no where and said I will have your money next week. his kid was born 2 months early or something like that. SO Hopefully i get my moiney next week but we will see. I tried texting him back asking when and where next week but no responce. then i tried callen still no responce. i am saving the text message incase I file a small claim suit. Not tryin to go that route just rather him do the right thing and call it a day but we will see if it comes to that. If it does it will be what he owes me plus my day off from work and thats another 160 bucks for the day plus court cost so i doubt he wants to go that route either.

So, basically he borrowed $250 from you for several months so that he could pay off some other debt. He offered you a TV at a rediculously low price (bait), then took your money and held it for months (loan) and is now backing out on the deal for the TV. Still sounds like you're getting bent over, unless he's going to pay you some kind of interest; at least what the money would've made you sitting in a bank. I assume he's still got the TV? If so, I'd tell him to keep your money (or he pays $$ + interest), demand the TV and then you can sell it back to him at the market price if he still wants it.
