after 2 years the finance charges jump up, life likes to sneak up and bite ya in the ass. any horror stories from anyone who had to eat the finance charges? im getting mine refinanced at 0% interest for 6 months and after that it goes to 3.29..rather then paying 17.9%

yeah that type of stuff sux on any type of card

 

when u applied for the card u got a sweet deal but once that deal runs out it says in the fine print that it's going to go up to 17 18 or 19% thats y i did the same thing u are doing a refinance mine also

 

Did you not read the terms when you signed up? That's called the stupid tax.

 

it's not them raping you. its you being an idiot and not reading what you are entering yourself into.

 

those cards are evil.....no good reason to ever finance on one of those......so-so rates and if you're a day late they immediately jack up the rates to an insane level. They did it to me so I paid off my account the next month. I was thinking about buying a new bike and they had a promotion going on so I called them up about putting my interest rate where it should be so I could do the promotion....even with great credit, low debt, and great income they said no.....so I bought the bike and my bank was able to finance me at about 14% lower for the little while I needed the loan

having the price of a bike on what is revolving credit also sucks and dings your credit way too much

If it's been 2 years and you have been paying faithfully, then you should have some decent credit built up. I would suggest that if you have a bank, go to them and get the bike refinanced. Shouldn't be much of a problem!

And yeah, I have heard of those things...they tried to do it to me when I bought my 636...I said no thanks, I will pay cash and got a cash price. I then called my bank and got them to stroke me a check!
