Cool Advice for first time at the track

Ok, so i am taking my boosted single cam(ha ha racing a single cam) to VMP this weekend. It is my first time running on a track and i was wondering if there was anything diferent i should do driving wise or anything.

Any advice would be greatly apriciated.

wait til another weekend you might get one or 2 runs in. with it being opening weekend and all. dont launch to high and feather the clutch

i went to dinwiddie on mar 1 the first day and it was a litlle packed i still got 4 runs in .... dont redlight !!

when the last yellow light comes on , drop/feather the clutch so you dont snap an axle. Other wise if you have extra axles/tools bring them incase they do snap but other wise enjoy the day and get a set of slicks. Street tires will always just spin and your 60 foot will suck.

lower your tire pressure to 20psi, bounce off the rev-limiter and pop the clutch when you launch!

watch where the other cars pull upto the light, and watch the staging lights so you dont look retarded when try to stage with your back wheels
