I'm not looking to race anyone now - but soon.

I'll see if they can do some sort of chromoly cage. If not, possibly a carbonfiber mid-section at least to brace things up. They sell those CF cages/bars for GT3s we looked into them.

When I say gutted I mean all seats except front two - maybe do recaro PPs, all sound deadening material, everything. Then i'll get a daily to drive around and use this as my fun car. If it has over 550-600awhp and is gutted - i'm sure it'd do O.K. around here. If not, build it more

You are looking at saving about 50 pounds from taking out the rear stuff and sound deadening. A cage will weigh more that that even if it is chromoly. Not arguing, just stating the obvious. That power will be good. If you are trying to be the fastest, then that won't do. It will most certainly run really good though. I'm not trying to argue about how fast your car is. I just don't see what you mean about the (scene) not being good enough.

I know what you mean man. It's not that I dont think the scene isn't good enough, I think a lot of the cars here are cool, but I saw pics from that show and now i've having second thoughts.

In Richmond there was a pretty big scene if you knew who to chill with. Some blown Vipers/Vettes/Big turbo Supra's etc. I have yet to hear about any cars like that around here, I could be wrong though!!!

Maybe I should just get a different car; should've never sold that Supra!

Are there any supercars here? For the next show should I just bring the stable (slr, gallardo, db9, etc) in from Richmond and spice things up?! hehehehe

Yeah I bet!

My dad told me one of his clients here in Roanoke owns a Diablo, but that's about it.

There are at least two Diablo's in Roanoke that I know of.

You don't see these cars very often, but they're out there. Actually, quite a few exotics in the Roanoke area.

The only thing around here are neons,1943 Honda station wagons,a couple of badasses that drive V8s (but we dont dare mess with them) and a few other "Fast and the Furious" tribute cars. Its roanoke how could the scene be good enough?
