After further researching I found out that 16 PSI is safe and more reasonable but should still producing 275 WHP, and yea i know its not the best looking car but it's my ugly car...
props to you for trying to do somthing diffrent but i mean really.... 16 PSI and only 275 to the wheels sounds like a lost cause. numbers are not high enough to justify spending that type of money IMO
why would you want to run 20 psi daily? that seems a little excessive. if you need that to make only 290 hp than i would build my motor if i were you, or buy another car.
If i'm not mistaken, you can swap a 4g63 in there...that might be the elantras tho...Either way, hyundai sucks at trannys, so don't be surprised if it starts slipping if and when you do hit that power number.
Yeah I heard that I can swap it in there, but I read from other hyundai forums my stock tranny can hold you to at least 300 WHP. and i found ARP head studs for my car so im good to go there.... so if i think i'm going be able to make 280WHP with 17 PSI... it's not an unrealistic goal

if it takes 17 psi to reach 280 whp, you got a problem. just my 2 cents worth.

Well, if you're looking to drop a ton of money into your current engine and only get x amount of hp and have questionable reliability with it, I just think it would be a wiser decision to boost a more capable engine. From what i know, the 4g63 internals can be boosted a lot before stuff starts to break.
sell the tiburon and get something people wont laugh at....or at least something ppl will take seriously, unless your not like tryna mod hardcore, then just dont get a fart can, etc.

Are you familiar 2 boosting ? if not i suggest reading up on boosting cars and all. Most likely as mentioned before tiburon forums will help. How much are you going to dump in this ? why do you want to do with this car ? is it your DD ? or project car. Take it in consideration if your going to max it out it will die soon.
