I saw several people walking around with cameras... hopefully we'll see some pics.

The show today was pretty good for a 1st time event. Judging was done well. I liked the judges going to the cars individually rather than as a group and talking their personal pics over with the other judges. Well done there guys!

The only bad part I can say about the event is the ever popular rattle box stereos that people think need to hear that crappy rap crap with an over abundance of distortion.

The PA didn't work as well as planned but , that is live and learn there. Sometimes, you just have to use what is available.

Thanks again guys for the awards. I was thoroughly overwhelmed by my collection that you guys awarded me. I know it was hard among quite a few nice cars there today. I couldn't believe I saw 1 guy bring in roughly $175k or so in vehicles.

Thanks for appreciating it.

Ah, the negative stuff you can't always help. The participants themselves often are the contributors here , or the spectators that may just want to be seen/heard. The stereos, the multiple burnouts, the ones that feel their rev limiter needs to be heard, etc. This is common stuff at almost every show. The host can't predict this behavior and may not condone it, yet it makes things harder for a group to find a facility to host the show.

I'm looking forward to next years show. Let me know if I can help of offer any suggestions next time.

Car show people are typically pretty classy. I mean seriously, 4 out of 5 car show people have at least 4 tattoos, smokes marlboro lights, drinks beer an average of 4 times a week, thinks that wifebeaters with jean shorts topped off with a fake gold chain is presentable, and that's just the women... don't get me started on the guys.
