Tornado
I work at Rita's pizza, and Driver and northern Suffolk are in are delivery area. Delivery has been closed for hours now since most of the area you can't get to. Had a driver come back from the Churchland area that saw that tornado. I'm pretty sure the store is closed now. I never expected something like this to happen so close to the water.
So what's shut down out that way, I have to make a delivery from here in Va-beach to Portsmouth and Smithfield tonight, I usually take 264 to portsmouth and then got on 664 and down James River Bridge exit to get to Smithfield, anything I should be aware of, keeping in mind I drive a Miata. Any places out there flooded out would be good to know.

Just got power back out here in Windsor.
Had one tornado touch down literally as I was driving up 58 on the way home(saw where it had come from, a path of trees mowed down etc), that was the first one. Took some pictures while I was driving.
As I got home, I was listening to the police scanner and started hearing about another touchdown in Franklin, so I got to spend 20 minutes huddled in a closet with the brother and all the house animals.
Not a good afternoon.

I was out there at RT58 and RT10 from 6 til now. I'm back working my regular shift now that more manpower arrived. I'm sure I'll be headed right back out there at 6am. It's worse than I expected. I have some pictures, but can't upload them right now. Rt58 is open again, but you can't exit at RT10 yet. I don't know when they will open that exit. The power lines are down and there are a lot of emergency vehicles there for the clean up and ect. Dominion power has been on scene for a while and have made fast progress clearing the power lines and trees, but there's a lot of work left to do.

It's always good to see people wanting to help out too.
