Default engine rebuild used pistons

im building a motor b series with jdm pistons they are in good condition what do you guys think they are stock bore as well as the bores in the motor i would just buy new rings and bearings

Clearances are clearances. As long as there is no physical damage, you should be fine.

I prefer Honda rings, others will tell you to get something else. I've YET to run into a Honda ring that I needed to file fit. It makes it easier on me, I can 'just throw it together' and it'll last.

Don't reuse your bearings or rings.

What he said,just make sure you give it atleast a light hone to clean up the carbon,and the little lip created by the carbon on the top of the cylinder walls. Theres a certain name there called but i can not remember.

Carbon doesn't cause that lip, not having any wear at the top of the cylinder sleeve causes that lip. Everywhere along the path of the piston gets more wear than that one area.
