A few questions
As we all know, Jake needs tires. BAD. I found some tires called Bridgestone Battlax at Chaparral.com for a pretty good price. From what I read they sound OK, but does anyone actually ride these? I'd like something that has good traction and will last a while.
Also, it's time for brakes and an oil change. Any special pads to keep an eye out for? Should I replace the rotors even though I have no lip or grooves? And whats a good oil/filter to run on a bike with 24k on it?

are they the Battleax BT56's? Had those on the zx6r and never had a problem with them. Stuck well enough and they last forever.
unless you're riding hard don't go too crazy on getting race pads

Its the replacement for the BT020. Long lasting sport-touring tire that grips well. Unless you're dragging knee everywhere it should be good. Those are actually better than BT56's I had on my bike
I'd buy a set before shinko's
must be a killer deal because I swear all but the DOT race tires are within $20 of each other
