I would agree with you, however, when i was 16 i was broke as hell. And with the stang you have to factor in gas mileage, insurance, and maintenance costs.

I would try to find something with airbags and something bigger than a crx also. Inexperienced drivers = accidents. Maybe a 95 four door civic so you can tote all your friends with no cars around.
I dont understand whats wrong with the price range I put up there, because ive seen planty of cars at $3k and up..Mabey not $1000 but it's a starting price. Most pple who are 16 do not have Full-Time jobs and have rich parents so whats the big deal?
