Thanks for the ideas everyone. The Echo is a good one.. it doesn't seem to have many problems reported and even though it's pretty wack looking, she thinks it's cute.

I can and I'm sure Mr Bellamy can also attest for the reliability. I see them janks come in that have obviously not been cared for, and have 250k miles, but still run strong.
You certainly can, shitty trannys with those and they're getting higher mileage.
If you DO snag one of those, make sure it drives 100% fine, comes with service records and have Honda do a full inspection of it before hand. Both the 4cyl and v6 models can be trouble.
They're nice cars interior/exterior, but the drivetrain is lame. I'd also just go for the 4cyl
