Chris, why do I look like an idiot? I know what the specs are for the Cobras. I didn't know about the mispoken horsepower deal that Ford did, yes you are right. If the information I learned (& the whole world learned) isn't true then how is that my fault? To be honest with you, I still don't consider his ranting & raving the gospel. I know what I read about the Cobras. So did the supercharger on that 4.6L 4 cammer give the car @ 140 horses on that low boost, instead of 90 horses on that low boost? The 2nd option sounds more logical...in my opinion.

ok...ill add to this...I HAD...about 7 years ago a 1991 Ford Escort Lx. It had the 1.9L SOHC engine, nothing at all right?? lol...until I found out about the BAC (british American Transfer)(which no longer exists as a specified unit) I had many many Cosworth parts for it and in comparison, it was i think like 88fwhp stock,I had WELL over that(never ran forced induction on it though...but i should have) and mine although never dynoed, was walking 5.0 ponys and I ONCE beat a SS Camaro....fun times , anyone that has known me for a long while will remember that car... GOOD TIMES

 

because thats just it. Everyone else knows the cobras are underated. Im not even a ford guy and i know that they make close to the wheels at what they claim to the crank.

well if you follow the SRTForums and read about wrecks and totals every week you soon realize that eventually they will be rare, As of right now the Commerative SRT-4's, some 200 were produced, theres only like 60% left.

Oh and your vast 'knowledge' of the 03-04 Cobra, are you serious? The people telling you this have either owned an 03-04 cobra, or know their shit well enough - you shouldn't be doubting them. Its pretty well known that the 03-04's were way underrated from the factory, its not gospel.
