That guy was phenomenally stupid, then. It's practically impossible to spin a Boxster; not only does the car handle like it's on rails, the PCM system is smart as hell and will let you break lose through corners, but it will simply not let you get that far out of control. Shit, I race my 2004 Boxster S, and agressively, too, and have yet to spin it.

Not with the markup you guys put on it But people go to you if they want a Porsche or Audi and pay it with a smile, so I can't really fault you for market pricing.

 

^ We have no markup... the car is MSRP. The Snyder family has a no-markup policy at every Checkered Flag location.

 

Well, to be fair, I was looking at used cars, not new, so I apologize if I mispoke. Hell of a markup on the used, though! I tried to buy an 02 Boxster from one of the other salesmen a few months ago, figuring the $3k-over-dealer-blue-book was just a chump price, but walked when they wouldn't even come down to dealer blue book letalone what I wanted to pay. (I was willing to pay a premium to buy from a Porsche dealer, but not but so much...) That's OK, plenty of private sellers out there selling used Porsches, and I found my car They found someone willing to pay their price, too- the car I made the offer on was sold within a day.
