In deed he does! And GLOCK FTW! Any time you feel like taking me up on a bet feel free to let me know. I'll toss mine in muddy water, freeze it and it will still shoot. Test me...please. I need the extra cash
he was actually talking about the guy that I quoted from Full Metal Jacket...
and tossing a piece of crap in muddy water and freezing it only makes it a muddy frozen piece of crap...

Somone has read one two many "glock lover" threads on the internet. Weve all seen the pictures .... its not anything new believe it or not.
But please .... go throw your personal gun in some muddy water, sand, concrete and whatever else they did .... take pictures of it as well, buy a newspaper with the date on it and write VADRIVEN on it with the gun in the picture submerged in shit .... and ill take your bet.
I have owned several different handguns. Sold all but two (both Glocks). Looking for something new for my wife to carry. Most likely the S&W hammerless.

I'm sure it will still shoot. That's not the issue.
The issue is that it will still be a piece of shit.

Great. At least the loose pieces of crap have one thing going for them.
As for your "test", I'd bet even the most mediocre of 1911s would be capable of the same abuse, however, all the while, they'd be more accurate, more comfortable and look better while doing it.
The reason you don't see threads on the internet of people subjecting their 1911s to this is because they're not disposable. (read: Glock)
