Flywheels are actually a little more complicated. Twin disc with a 7 lb flywheel is nice when it revs up so nice and quick, getting you into the powerband quick.. but they also fall off RPMs a lot worse on gear changes. The heavier flywheels actually hold boost and RPMs way better than the lightweight stuff on a shift.

That makes sense. Never thought about it that way.

I just posted a bunch of DSM shit for sale in the for sale section. Figured I"d make a note here since I'm sure my post ill be drowned in 500 honda junk for sale posts in about 5 minutes.

Speaking of clutches and flywheels...

I just pulled my Shep Stage 4 trans and Quartermaster 6 bolt Twin Disk clutch out yesterday. Both are now for sale and will be posted up very soon. Figure some of you local guys may take interest since shipping is costly for a trans. Literally right around 1050 miles on both unit (installed at 88498 and the car has 895XX miles right now). I'm simply converting over to a built automatic.

All the other 5spd parts are also up for grabs, pedal, master cylinder, izuzu slave, clearanced shift fork, cylinder, SS clutch line, Transfer case, 4bolt rear diff, etc. I almost never drag race my car and I routinely change fluids, so for once you actually would know what the history of parts such as the rear diff and Xfer case are.
