no vibrations........when i hit 3500 it just sputters and backfires but wont go above 3500.........po got tired of tryin to firgure it out so he sold it to me cheap lol
What kind of crx? ( dx, si, hf) If is was a dx then when whom ever swapped may have not wired the crank angle sensor correctly. If the person wired it wrong it revs to just about 3500 and breaks up just like you said your car is doing. I would recheck all the wiring. Also what ecu are you on currently?
