After driving a Z06 I never ever thought about owning a Cobra again. Only mustang I'd own is a vert for cruising w/ 4 people or a track bitch notch from FlimFlam @ PAS.

You sit in a Z06/C5/C6 whereas you sit on a mustang... the ergonomics of the Vette as far as steering wheel and shifter position are far superior.

If you want a badass drag car get the KB car and put a stick axle in it. If you want a better all around car keep your Z.

 

I agree with B. don't get the cobra unless you just want a high powered straight line car. if you aren't really into drag racing, i'd stick with the Z. it'll hold its value well like the cobras are, is ergonomically superior and you can easily set it up to focus on handling but still be able to go to the dragstrip without embarassing yourself.

One of the reasons why I bought the Z06 over the KB Cobra in the first place.... The seating in the Cobra is no where near what it is in the Z06.

There is just something about Cobras that I like. Im not sure what it is.

Im not a VIR(turns) guy though.... I take my car to MIR(1/4) more then anything, so....

I know how you feel. You get an itch for something, then you sell what you have and get it. Then later you wish you never got rid of it. but....... it is a cobra. I would love to have a cobra, but i think i would stay with the Z06. Its an all around better car than the cobra. So i would keep the Z06 and look at supercharger kits OR..... sell the srt4 and get the cobra and you wil have both
