Oh yeah i forgot when your 17 and juggling a part time job and school and already hurting for money you tend to go to the place that quotes the cheapestso yeah any of you that has a problem with that can shut the fuck up i just posted this so it would travel the internetso Firestone would lose business

Jesus Christ people. He was just getting word out about how Firestone ripped him off. Just because you wouldnt go to a place like that because you know better does not make it ok for a buisness to act that way. He is simply trying to spread the word so someone else who might be thinking about going there will think twice. Yet all you fags can do is bitch and moan about how he typed his post. Grow the fuck up already.

....I know enough about engines to get me by but I do know you cant just up and change from conventional to synthetic. But within about a week after this all happened I had changed the oil 3 times and the last time I had noticed the oil was marbled with metal shavings. My car is an old car but it wasn't high mileage, it only had 56,000 miles on it at the time. But I had to get a used engine from a junkyard. When i pulled the old engine out we opened the timing cover and saw that when Firestone did this they cut the oil pan gasket. They didn't drop the oil pan. They just used about a full tube of RTV silicone sealer to use it inplace of the gasket. They didn't let the RTV set for 24 hours and when it mixed with the oil it flaked off and clogged the oil ports on the piston bearings for the 1 and 2 cylinders. When I took the bearings off they were pitted and discolored and it was even overlapping and peened over. And when they were putting the timing cover back on the used a torque wrench and got a bolt that was too long and torqued it too much and chipped the timing cover so the took the bolt out and put some RTV on the head ov the bolt and tightened it back up....

if he wanted to do something about it, he would have taken them to small claims court. instead, he cried about it on an internet forum.

everyone who has whined in this thread about his post knew that it was going to be about not going to Firestone and if they didnt care then they shouldnt have clicked on the link. But they did click to see what happened to the kid, and then saw a chance to be an E-bully and took it because they all were picked on as kids in school and now is their chance to be the cool guy and pick on someone. Like i said, grow the fuck up. I can understand if the kid came in bragging about some POS that he threw together, but he was just trying to help other people out by sharing his experience with a buisness he put his trust in.

god damn thank you at least somebody understands why i posted this im trying to help anybody i could cause now i learned the hard way that the cheapest is not always the best even though this was a couple of months ago i was young and nieve but since this has happened ive grown up a lot so again thank you anybody that understands why i posted my story and all those other people get a fuckin life is this seriously the most entertaining thing you have to do is to pick on an 18 year old about his wrong decision.
