Yeah after living here awhile I actually like Richmond. You can go to the river or just walk around downtown/VCU area and meet a lot of cool people.

I have noticed there are tons of posers up here but fuck them...I just skip past them and do my own thing and have fun.

 

the hardcore/metal music scene. richmond shows used to be some brutal shit. and alot of bands got there start or played alot of shows in richmond. also could be known as the "hate 04"

 

not yet. some old folks came and looked at it but the broad didn't wanna drive a manual

roger. i never really knew richmond had much of a music scene other than that gwar and lamb of god were students from vcu's art school.

and i remember from about 10-15 years ago that dave mathews blew up and all these adult contemporary, peace frogs shirt wearing hippies and bands came out of the woodwork around here.
