Friday they are having the fun truck come out. From what I've heard, its an 18 wheeler full of "all the latest and greatest gadgets." And yes, they did have 100 $20 gift cards for the first hundred people. But there was also a line of 250+ wrapped around the building. And that was on a Thursday evening.

yeah apparently best buy sold 88,000 dollars in the three hours they were open today, seems like a shit load since thier goail was 20,000

 

Yep $30,000 was from home theater alone, I haven't seen the numbers from the other departments. We had 4 Wii Fit, they were gone in the first 10 minutes. And we still have about 20-25 Wiis left.

 

After I get off from Nasa, Ill be there to pick one up for the party.


It was a very sucessful night and I hope the spirit of the store remains high. It seems as though there are a lot of good people working there. I enjoy the interaction with the customers, but I am glad I dont have to help them with product
