and it wasnt hovering over any water. it was right smack dab in the middle of the highway. I went to Richmond today...no helos =(

 

I see 60's and 53's over 264 everyday coming from work. They just follow the I.

 

always a good feeling to know they are training helicopter pilots over the interstate

 

im in the a helo squadron in NOB. its just training with seals, rescue swimming,aircrew men, blah blah. usually the junior officers get lost and just follow main roads.

 

i just got off work a little bit ago...gimme a break

The sleds you see are just being towed out there. And the fins drop once we get out past the ches. bay bridge. And yes it is mine sweeping but not hovering. with a 90ft a/c and only going 7 knots it just looks that way.

And for the helo you are seeing right now. is VSP. we have heard radio contacts the past few days about them. And here is the story to back that up.
