I agree. They had one at VIP Tint and Detailing and when i saw that i was like no because u couldnt see in it at all and i knew i would have cop trouble as well. Dont get me wrong it looks nice but to much of a headache. Go 35 all around and u shudn't have a problem.

I had 20 all round on the vette never had an issue.. i think i have 35 all round on my civic and never had an issue either.

 

Depends on what you're driving... I'm running 35 in the front sides in my truck and the factory tinted glass rear sides and back w/o any issues. It really doesn't look dark at all.

In the Z06 I'm going with 35 sides and 20 rear, should be similar to my truck. However, I expect it to look a bit darker due to the black interior in the vette (vs. grey in the truck) and the smaller size.

 

i got 20 percent on my current car, and have put 20 percent on all my previous cars except one... and that one car had lighter tint, sure enough that was the only car ive gotten a ticket in for tint.

 

depends if you have a blacked out import with other mods it is a cop-magnet.. but if you roll up in a tinted out sonata or geo prizm I doubt you will get pulled over...

 

Type of car and mods is probably the biggest factor. I drove around for two years with 20% all the way around in my Volvo 850R and never got hassled once. Had 20% tint on my maxima and got stopped 4 times for it.

Both cars were stock looking on the exterior too. Basically, keep it to 50% front and 35% for the rest or pay to play.
