The worst part about selling Porsches...
They could use some more power though, thats my only complaint.
I had a guy come in driving a Turbo 911 Cabrio yesterday. He tipped me 30%, beautiful car!! I'd prefer one to a vette, but I'd take a vette over any boxster/cayman.
I believe that every Porsche is an outstanding car. The fact is; Porsche produces some of the best sports cars in the world, bar none.
Sure...the Boxsters, Caymens and N/A 911's (excluding the GT3's) are relatively slow in a straight line...but they aren't made to be acceleration monsters. They're made to be perfectly balanced, quick, luxurious and reliable...which they absolutely are.
But yes...there are a lot of ignorant Porsche owners out there (typically Boxster owners) that really have no clue about where their cars fall in the acceleration food chain. Nor do they understand just how far the Corvettes have come in the last 6 or 7 years. I also imagine that most of them don't know the difference between a Z06 and a standard Coupe.
Me...I love my Z06. Bang for the buck, I honestly believe it's one of the top 3 sports cars you can buy. It's a truly great car.
On that same note; many domestic owners don't know the difference between a Turbo, GT3, GT2 or Carrera S. And...just like many Boxster owners, they routinely underestimate the competition as well. It seems everytime I drive my 911, I get some domestic owner revving on me who wants to beat up on the "yuppy in his black Porsche".
Anyway, there are plenty of car guys out there that know and appreciate all performance cars...regardless of make/model. And many of them own and drive Porsches.

I saw your Z06 on the dyno a month or two ago down in va beach (there with johnathan and his GTO), stock for stock, I just am in love with the sound of the LS7.On another note, I've driven a boxter a couple of times, fun car, very precise.
Oh and for the record I believe Porsche builds an amazing car... all of them... especially the Boxster. I just find that almost all of my customers start talking about Corvettes... it's funny, that's all.
That would really annoy me. I hate guys like that and never pass up an oppportunity to put them in their place.
Hey brother. Just really busy as of late, as I'm sure you're aware from talking to our mutual friend JF.
Things are good, though...but I don't get to enjoy my cars as much as I would like to these days. Tell Richard H. I said "hey" and that I hope he's doing well.
