If I were a thief/employee/friend of yours I'd steal parts from customer's cars since you said you wouldn't rat me out for it. And you said you'd actually go so far as to help me hide from the police.

I know it's hypothetical, but I have to ask, would you also refuse to turn in and/or help a friend hide if they were wanted for something more serious like murder or rape?
