It's only been for sale for a total of 3 weeks haha. I've had it sold several times and kept backing out of deals because I couldn't let it go. Now it must go because no storage.

I have a 2000 Passat wagon v6 automatic that is very clean and worse case needs a transmission or best case- a seal replaced and new fluid. It was running great till all the fluid poured out. Estimated repairs are 1400-1600 w/ a 6 month warranty. I am contemplating fixing it for my little sister...but maybe not.

I also have a 2000 Jetta sedan, VR6 with a manual tranny, but the motor has a bad knock. Pretty clean....this one might not be available as I have a pending deal. This one is hard to find. I have a for sale thread going here with pics and full details.
Estimated repairs are 2k-2300, not sure about warranty yet.

If either interests you, I am willing a straight trade and can get you more details.
Both are silver w/ black cloth interior and have just under 130k miles.

Please don't post on this thread if you don't plan on buying it and when you have no clue what you are talking about. The reason it hasn't sold is because most people on here have no money and because season is almost over. Back in June I had it sold to a couple of people for up to $2,800 and I backed out of the deals.

ps) motors aren't $3k, they are $225 for a new top end.
Are you kidding me bro?!? That motor won't see a few years! lol. And let me correct you The xp, and xpl's are the ones that everyone wants. So you need to do more research on what you have before you make yourself look stupid again! i was just trying to give you some friendly advice. Thats a new top end! What about the bottom end? What you think the top end is where the problem is? You don't never have to change out the top end unless something goes wrong in the bottom end. Dumbass If the case gets messed up (which in most cases that happens) your buying a 2400 to 2600 motor. And thats not saying it can't be rebuilt but that'll still cost around 1800 unless you can do it yourself. That doesn't include someone putting it in! And yeah you can buy a cut head or a stock starting around 130 on up to 225. Dude make sure you do more research on what you have. And I don't believe that motor has 80 organial hours on it! And if it does I hope every winter it was winterized right if not that motor won't be lasting to long.

Once again, IF YOU DON'T HAVE A CLUE AS TO WHAT YOU ARE TALKING ABOUT THEN DON'T POST. This is a for sale thread and not a debate thread. Your "friendly" advice is far from accurate. I've owned and built skis for more than 14 years (owned 9 skis and did a 787 swap into an hx this summer), I know what I'm talking about. The bottom end RARELY ever goes on these motors, it's usually the top end ($225 kit and takes about 2-3 hours to do). The bottom end is almost never the issue or ever destroyed because of the top end. 80% of the time the top end goes is because of the oil injector, which this one had been replaced because of the age of the ski. If what you were saying were true, I wonder why my kx250 has had the top end rebuilt 2 times and the bottom end is fine??Yes the motor has around 84-85 hours on it, the past owner (original owner) was an old man and a pack rat. Who are you to say what the hours are when you haven't even seen the ski? That's like saying there isn't a 69 camaro in the world with less than 40k original miles. $2,000+ for a new motor? Wow, maybe you should let this company know that http://www.sbtontheweb.com/Merchant2...roduct_Count=5 because they are only charging $845 for a new motor. If the motor was more than $2000 and you claim my ski is only worth $1,500, would they be selling any motors when you could just go buy another ski for cheaper? And the $1,800 rebuild you talk about is funny too, considering my brother had his rebuilt for $600 last summer by a shop. The xp you are referring to is not a more wanted model, it may look better but it's not as fun to most people (the spx gets alot more air time and is easier to throw around) and it has the same motor unless you went to the limited and on top of that the xp is more common than the spx. The motor will EASILY run another 3+ years of HARD riding (compression is perfect). I had a 96 xp with more than 150 hours on it and it NEVER had problems other than trim. I take care of my skis and properly maintain them and Virginia Beach Watercraft can vouch for me all day long. You've probably never even owned a ski before (which is obvious), so your input is as worthless as tits on a bull. So please stop messing up my thread because you have nothing else to do and because I won't sell you a $3,000 ski for $1,500.
