I have an old Cougar I take to the car shows but those people are not very sociable. If you dont have a Camaro, Nova or Mustang your not really "in". I would like to see an organized meet for the newer car scene start up as long as it was a safe well moderated enviorment. Keep the people who just want to have fun and show off the cars and weed out the idiots who will cause trouble and grab attention of the police. Just my two pennies

JMU's got some really good parties. You can almost always park at the Food Lion on Port Republic and find a couple good parties within "walking distance." I've stopped going as much though. Too many guys looking to start shit. But definitely some good looking girls most of the time. If that's not your cup of tea, I'm not so sure about the car scene. Like it's been said, there are plenty of nice cars, but don't seem to want to come out much.

Nice cars don't come out because when we/they start to come out a bunch of other non-wanted people come out, that want to start trouble and think a Honda d15 hatch is the best burn out queen in the city.

I remember watching some stupid ass do this is a gas station. I thought it was retarded so we pulled out of the station to leave and was pulled because the dumb cop thought it was be who did the burn out because smoke was all around. However he did not see anyone do it. But it's situations like that, that make people go home.

Wow that really sucks, my wife has been pulled over for something similar too, but this cop thought that my Wife's beat up, valve bent Honda Accord to get up to 60mph in no time...
