just randomly found this spot but never been or heard of it.

I think that is where i use to ride my quad, but it was about 18 yrs ago.

went to check it out. one entrance was gated n then the other was right off rt. 1 n too noticeable to pull in to.

So what county are we talking about. It is pretty easy to look up the owner and find out if it is legal to wheel.

If the first entrance they're talking about is behind the Econo Lodge, it's not public area. I grew up in Montclair and that area has been used for offroading forever (at least as far back as '86 or so). We always called it the mud bowl. Been back there a lot back in high school and never got harrassed, but I know the cops made a lot of efforts to block it off in the past.
