there are several different diameter setups for the VTEC,non VTEC and CRV engines, but the TDC marks are all the same, and i believe the ignition timing marks are all the same(i think the base timing is the same on all the different engines).

I've got one here that the marks are not the same. They are about 20-25 degrees off. Now way the belt is that many teeth off. Never realized it when assembled the motor as I went by the mark on the gear. Hard to set timing now with no mark

BTW, what are going to do with the coupe?

the TDC mark is that far off?!is it an interference setup?does it run?is the pin in the crank/pulley keyway?that's really weird...

the coupe will be finished.....one day.if i can ever find time from working on other people's stuff i'll work on it.i have everything for the new engine other than bearings, which i have to size and order.GT35,Mahle pistons,Eagle rods,Supertech valvetrain.im going to max out my 750s,i'm sure.depending on what it makes i may go to a bigger injector, but this bottom end is only good for about 550-600 crankHP at most,so we'll see.i've got another block that i want to put the good Golden Eagle sleeves in,and higher end rods and pistons.at that point i'll be looking at maxing out the turbo, and i'm not sure what i'll do after that, since a GT40 or bigger is in no way streetable, and i don't have any plans of seriously drag racing it..

Yeah, its streetable. Its a gsr engine. It's wierd, it runs quite nice at the moment but thats kind of with guessing at the timing, something I'm not comfortable doing for longs periods, lol.

Coupe sounds like it would be a lot of fun. What snail did you use to have on it, always been a 35? Agreed Inj will be overrun, they're cheap nowadays tho if you know where to look. Any parts your willing to sell for a b series drivetrain?

only thing i have for sale is a complete set of brand new ITR valvesprings......
the old turbo was a tiny unit(i forget the specifics)that came from an FMAX kit.at 10 pounds it ran out of breath by 7kRPM and fell off bigtime.response was killer though-as good as any factory turbo car....it ended up having a valve stem welded to the compressor wheel when i over-revved it.
the 35r is Brian's old turbo.it's been collecting dust for a while now.i think i'm gonna keep the 750s for now.they'll limit my power to a resonable level, which is good since this is a stock sleeve engine.i'm trying to get the car going as cheaply as possible anyway.when/if i do the new block i'll go with bigger injectors.
