Yeah, a Toyota engine in a Nissan is a great idea...
why? sc300 motor for 500-600 bucks.....which is WAY more capable of making reliable power than that RB. and you can buy parts for it locally. why, it sucks because its not made by nissan? i mean, if you want to be diffrent, just put a vg30dett in the 240. or do the q45 swap...the early q45s, i think it was 91-93 were rated at 290 hp.
I lurked long enough. The idea of a Toyota engine in a Nissan Silvia warranted registering and posting. A VG30DETT, however, is quite enticing. 300bhp, 283 ft/lbs, and it looks great too.

I lurked for about a year. I was worried about turning into a forum troll, which I can see this site has plenty of already, so I didn't sign up. I was trying to avoid the slippery slope, if you will. I finally broke down and registered because a) I work with the guy who posted this thread, b) I used to work with Lars, and c) It's about time.
