damn so is a 46mm wastegate ganna do any good when it breaks off and is dragging on the road?

LOL, that was kinda funny......


although these new manifolds I do not believe are the cheap Meng manifolds anymore. There seems to be a lot of bracing on the manifold. The bracing is ment to be a good thing, but could possibly turn into a problem in the future, dealing with weight. Wastegate runner looks a tad to long, but I am sure the 46mm wastegate will make up for that (possible problem with over boost?) Wastegate placement is on 2 runners so that is better than the meng.

But it takes a lot of things to design a manifold. Something I dont believe I could do. There is a lot of engineering equations to help perfect the manifold (flow dynamics mostly). Overall the manifold design I beleive is pretty good. I would be more interested in what time of metal is used, thickness of metal, what time of weld, laser cut or plasma cut flanges, and most important cfm flow rates.

Either way my opinion doesnt mean shit.
