I'm done with the power making aspect of cars, looking for a Newer car to drive around and sit clean.

Any ideas? Not so much a VIP style either but just something. 2dr, 4dr Still in the air if i want to pick up an evo x or the genesis coupe when i get back.

There is some merit to Dave's claim, that hondas rarely race anything other than another honda. I used to race multiple times a night from a dig every weekend back in 2004 and 2005. I can recall nights where I'd race multiple foxbodies, WS6s, and Lightenings, all in the same night from a dig in my little FWD 18g, 2.5" exhaust and a boost controller Dodge Colt. I've only raced a honda once, back in 2004, and he won. Granted the car was from up north, not from Fredericksburg, but he won. I've always been a little bummed out at never seeing hondas race the way I used to race, against RWD nitrous and RWD supercharged cars on the street from a stop. Since the time I ran that honda, I've only seen one other honda race another car from a dead stop that wasn't a honda. It was that little blue turbo hatch against the white 2g DSM some time ago. Just to show you how bad Fredericksburg has gotten, I brought my car out this past August, and the only thing that would run me besides the Duster(we actually were never able to line up), was a Ford Focus. If a Ford Focus is the best Fredericksburg has to offer then its a sad state of affairs. The only thing that will run my brother's Eagle Summit are poweradder mustangs from 10mph rolls. He's been turned down by pretty much every other vehicle imaginable.

 

As i stated before i am still upset i never got a crack at the focus you talked about. Obviously nothing impressive, not sure if that was the car at MIR last time i was there with TJ for track test and tune but it was a red focus on similiar setup running 13.XX That in my opinion being boosted is slow.

 

Yea, from what i hear that focus runs anything and everything, yet over the summer he turned my Turbo SOHC civic down? i woulda ran pretty much anything i thought would be a good race in that car, but yet the turbo/nitrious focus didnt wanna race. Like i said, i have nothing fast, nor will i ever, but its just mind boggleing that everyone claims Honda's wont race, b/c myself and a few others have never been offered to race nor have those cars ever been out when we were at the lot.

 

You saw you will never have anything fast, which is understandable, your cars are always clean as shit. Thats how you are, everyone builds their cars differently. And thats why i respect most all cars and owners.

i like to be clean, and slow...that a way everyone can see me tehehehe, my wheels cost more then most peoples car's around this town, includeing Honda's! lol, but like i said, once i get my new setup in the green car i'll be back out, still be slow, but i'll be out. But i can't talk shit yet b/c my car is in about a million pieces and sittin on jackstands but shes got a fresh coat of wax and a car cover on her ass

hahahahah pleeeeeeeease, i had about 10g's in that car and nothing to show for!!! lol u know that best b/c i was always over there with yet another problem or needing u to try and line up a motor, the best thing i did was part her ass out after the turbo II conversion haha. When's the blue beast gonna come to the streets and walk DSM's?....and hondas....LOL
