And the second truck looks like shit. Not exactly sure how that setup would perform, but I'm guessing not good. Width of tires really isn't nearly as crucial as many people think, I wish I had 10.50's instead of 12.50s right now.

Look into the nitto mud terrain, my buddy has them on a f350, 35x14 I think and they daily drive fine and eat in the mud. Looks great too.
Both of those trucks are for looks, with the occasional pull down in Morgans corner. Mine, also for looks. You don't buy a super duty to go mudding in, or rock crawling. So, both of the trucks would perform find pulling a sled. My truck wont be quite as wide, but just looking at them you wouldn't be able to tell unless they were side by side. And there is virtually no difference between the set up of the first and second, just about 1.5 inch of tire. The goal was wide...really wide. I ran the Nitto mud terrains, the mud grapplers and hated them. I just don't like the look, or ride. The first truck has a pretty nasty set up though, king coils, all leafe in the rear, nice bilsteins and a Rize steering stabilizer. when it comes down to it it will be what strikes my interest the day I order them, and im pretty set on either 35x15.5 tsl/sx or the pitbull growler, unless I find a banging deal on some boggers. I rarely drive the truck over 10 miles a day so wear isnt to big of an issue.

The pitbulls suck IMO. They do not last long at all! My best friend had a set and they were gone in 10-12k miles or so. And when they came to getting close to bald they pulled(side to side) really really bad on the street. I would say they worse than boggers.

I can definitely tell a difference in the two different setups, the tsl's tread pattern also looks alot dumber than a bogger that wide, but they definitely pulled off the short and wide look.

Since you're building it basically just for looks, do whatever looks best in your opinion. Doin it your way is always the best idea since it's your truck, but I think any tire smaller than a 35 looks like dodo on a superduty ESPECIALLY when they start gettin in the 14'' wide range.

What didn't you like about the nitto m/t? My friends f350 rides pretty smooth with them at 60+mph other than the sound. He puts down a little over 800ft/lbs and they hook tons better than his old bfg at/s. In the mud, they eat rediculously good, he also does pretty good at the morgan's corner pulls too

I will probably end up going with a 35x15.5 because the price difference is literally like 75 bucks between all 4 tires. The mud grapplers just cupped horribly, way worse than my irok's. That and I just don't like the look of them. I do like the really wide 33's on a super duty on 14 wides, I just think it looks better with 4 inchs instead of 6. I really do like both of those trucks a lot. Tire choices are hard...Ive decided not to get the pitbulls though.

wow....those trucks look llike the tires are way too small and stretched too wide. they both need 38" tires and 10-12" wide rim at most. id get boggers. or if wear is of major concern look at ground hawgs. they wear pretty good.

Those trucks can't fit 38s. 6 inches of lift on a coild sprung super duty can fit 37s at most, and thats with ALOT of rubbing in the front, even with fender trimming...ask me how I know ha. The best fit for those trucks and my own would be 35s or 36s. 10 wide rims are for pussies. Neither wear nor price is of a big concern to me because I don't drive the truck much. However I will go for a deal when I see one, and right now I can get the tsl/sx's for a good deal. If I find the boggers buy 3 get one free again soon ill get those. Again though, its just a different style look. Some people like tall and skinny, some tall and wide, and short and wide and etc and so on. Im going in the middle, 6inch lift, 35s, and wide.

You have to use spacers on wheels smaller than 17s on 05 and up super dutys because the brakes are to large. and other than the 22inch KMC wheels the only 14 wides I know of come in 15, 16 and 16.5. Im running 16.5x12s with a 2 inch spacer now just because of the fact that all of the tires I want are offered in that size (had 17s before and they dont make much for those).

if this is for your STREET truck i wouldn't even get sum boggers, etc. get sum swamper radials or sum of that nature. Especially if you plan on stay on the asphalt like 80% of the time. Ever think about pro comp's? just asking.
