Last 3 paragraphs had me thinking about this situation more than ever. Now I have mixed feelings on this.

 

im in school for criminal justice at the present moment and i am getting ready to do a case review/ essay paper on this exact case. i use to smoe weed and i see these people here sayin this and that about drugs and laws bottom line is yes legalizing it would help the economy(lets be honest who wouldnt pay 20 bucks for 20 class a joints) but that is not the matter at hand . according to what ive read and been told by officers and teachers he was within his rights to shoot if they did not annonce them selfs, i een told he was asleep when the came in the beating of the door is what woke him now but ur self in his shoes ur asllep on the couch ur house just got broken into 2 days ago and all of a sudden someone is trying to beat down your door , YOUR SCARED AND FEEL FOR YOUR LIFE, you would do the exact thing he did . yes it is a shame that someone had to loose there life over this and yes if he wasnt involved in drugs they would have never been there but that is not the case all that matters is wether or not the announced and if he was in fear for his life, i believe he will get off(may receieve lesser charge like involuntary mrder,reckless discharge of fire arm but i doubt it) if any one would like a copy of the complete overview of case i will gladly send copy to u when it is finished
