Default Need new springs, whats gonna work?

So heres the deal, ive got 17x7 wheels with a 2.25 drop and kyb struts and shocks on my 99 Civic with new 16x7 wheels on the way, the new wheel and tire combo is going to lower the ride height another .8 inches, which would be great, if there were no speed bumps and all the roads were perfect. but there not.

so my question is what company makes a 1.5 drop spring that will fit on the KYBs?

If the KYBs are OEM replacement struts then any springs for your car (with the drop that you want) should work perfectly fine. Basically if the KYBs use Civic springs, just get the Civic springs that you want. Look into Eibach, they usually make somewhere around that drop for most cars, and their springs are beautifully made and great quality.

By the way, where are you getting the 2.25" drop spec? Is that a spec from the springs that you have now? If you're going back to stock tire diameter (with the new 16" wheels) then you'll actually have that 2.25" drop from the springs, if that is what they have.

If you've actually measured the drop as 2.25" with the 17s, are the 17s are larger tire diameter than stock, then the springs obviously have to be more than 2.25" by themselves.

I'm just trying to figure out what parts that you have on the car are actually contributing to the drop spec that you listed.

The springs are the 2.25" drop springs from Neuspeed. thats all i know, and i believe the struts are kyb AGXs (4 way adjustable up front and 8 in the rear) but i know the wheel and tire comb is bigger than stock cuz the tires rub the frame rail when turned to the lock

That could also mean the tires are just wider than stock or the offset is different from stock, or both. You answered my question though, the drop spec was for the coils only.
