It'll go on till people get bored. lasted till 430ish last year. that was with ~200 people.

there are some cheap hotels down here in the off season.

For the out of town guys, it may be worth checking with hotels if they'll give a group discount for this event. If a certain number of people book rooms (and say it's for this event), there's a good chance you guys could get a decent discount.
