hi i want to increase my hp and torque but i dont want to to do a turbo... turbo + good tune job is more than 2g which im not ready to spend.so i was thinking off addin after market part but not touching the internals rite now..i have intake, headers, breather the simple stuff my plane was to add a

throttle spacer
fuel pressure regulater
intake mani
msd external coil
dont no much bout it but i want to try a performace chip
might PP the head (any tips)

that what i have in mind any kind of advice would be REALLY helpfull ..
any one no any thing about the performace chips??

Look into nitrous. You really will be disappointed with any bolt-on to an ls if youre not FI. Or you could look into going LSvtec.....

 

yea i was a bout to go nos..but you hear all that crap about nos(blow motor..)..im not quick to judge.. i might ...thanks mah

 

Um dont think any of those will actually add hp, the manifold will probably only add alittle top end but take away tq. I had a skunk2 on my ls and was very disappointed. Take the cash and get a b16 head for cheap and call it a day until you boost

 

get a nice set of cams and a nice shot of nitrous(75) on a ls will feel great and get you up to sti's and evo's but will do damage in the long run

 

i migth jus do that.. jus that now a days u dont really no whos tellin the truth bout selling a GOOD low mile vtec head my boy just bought one looked straight untill he finished the lsV and the head turned out to be bad

 

yea i was bout to spray 50-75 shot but.. u said it in the long run it will SUCK

 

umm no. Nitrous will not cause damage if done properly.

 

whatever you do......if you go nitrous and miss gears you will most likely blow it up.....and yes it will be bad in the long run but i am sure your not going to spray at every car you come past or at all stop lights it will be fine

 

what tranny you running? if its an ls tranny get rid of it and get a b16 trannny.
