VA proposed display of only ONE license plate on vehicles
If virginia wasn't so fucking stupid, they would realize you can charge the same as two plates , and only make and issue one and keep the extra money,, Naaa that makes too much sense.
I hope it passes since I dont plan on putting my front plate on unless I get a ticket, and that will be to take a picture of it on to present in court then remove it again
Hmm why dont have to plates?
Looks? .
Dont want to drill holes in the new bumper? and when you're at a show you dont want them to see the holes?
i dont know/understand.

We CCCHR have been making changes in Va for 25 years, we walk the walk and talk the talk. We have people in place to spot trouble and work on it, The councils are made up of many local clubs with members in the state of hundreds of thousands.
You do have a voice, go to a meeting and use it. DN
Thanks for doing your part to support the car culture. I was a member of the Tidewater Mopar club while i was stationed down there. I was talking more along the lines that there is more important legislation out there than a 1 license plate rules, I guess "importance" is relative though and some people really really hate their front license plate
See, this sort of ignorance on the government's part annoys the shit out of me. My father is employed by the state in a "judicial position", and as a result he is more than interesting to talk to about this kind of stuff. What it really comes down to is that the state and government as a whole consider taking time to weigh the pros and cons of a "minimal impact" bill of this nature irrelevant. They would rather use their payroll wisely and pay for their "employee's" time by having them debate over "big-spending" solutions. The real issue lies in the current government's diability to look any further than a few years down the road. When they start seeing the"big picture', little bills like this stand a better chance.
Either way, my front plate makes an already ugly car(like mine), even uglier. It would be refreshing to get rid of that BS, once and for all. End of story.
